No matter how quickly emergency professionals respond, individuals on the scene are best positioned to assist and potentially stop life-threatening blood loss.
In under 60 minutes, you can gain the skills to be an immediate responder for a friend, family member, coworker, or stranger. You will enhance your emergency preparedness by learning the distinction between bleeding and life-threatening blood loss, as well as how to respond to both. Participants will practice using tourniquets and wound packing techniques.
